Site Upgrade
So after a few years of running Moveable Type I decided it was time for something new, not because MT was bad I just got bored with it so I moved my blog to WordPress. So far I really like it, plus its all PHP so I can modify it easier. The only downside is that the pages are all dynamically generated which results in slower response times but my site’s response time is throttled at the bandwidth level not at the machine (see: Dynamic DNS over Cable modem). Although I’m thinking about taking the time to write the PHP code to generate static files, it depends on how much “real” work I have to do.
I also changed the general layout of the site. The street sign in the corner is not an actually street sign, I thought I would show off my amateur Photoshop skills.
