Google + Blogger
I recall hearing that Google purchased Blogger a few months ago but was unaware that they had integrated a “BlogThis” button into the Google Toolbar. I was also unaware that this raised alot of noise from the other blogging systems. I don’t use blogger but I can recognize this as being a great step forward for the blogging community.
One of my issues with many blog systems is that they are accessible only by “power-users” or “tech-geeks” which is not an ideal situation because every Internet User should actively participate in building the web. This being said I think putting easy tools such as the Google “BlogThis” feature as an attempt at making blogging pervasive.
