It's disapointing that it doesn't resemble any part of a Subaru... :-( It's nice and all, but still disappointing that it has no roots nor development....

I searched for Subaru 2.5XT on Google and your site came up. I just bought one of these puppies and I'm telling you, it is AWESOME. Car & Driver just said that they got a 5.3 to 60. I'll never see that b/c you wouold have to drive it too hard, but it's a nice stat to know. I was just commenting to my buddy who's also a car guy that Subaru is actually now a PREMIUM car brand. More expensive, really, that Honda, Toyota, or Mazda (for sure). This is my sedond. I had a 2001 Outback Limited Wagon 5 speed as well, and that car didn't even hickup in 45K miles. Anyway, thought you might be interested.

Thanks for the comment. I own two Subarus neither one has given me any problems. The oldest is a 1993 Subaru Legacy L with 200k miles and no major problems, although the automatic transmission is starting to act up. The other is a 2002 H6-3.0 Outback Sedan with 30k miles and still no problems.

The really disturbing thing is the similarity to another italian designed prototype though I can't recall the make/model. It was shown in autoweek a few months ago but I'm sure that's in the trash by now.

Here ya go:

http://www.autoweek.com/search/search_display.mv?port_code=autoweek&cat_code=carnews&content_code=01088807&Search_Type=STD&Search_ID=1380246&record=1

It's a long URL so the wrap'll probably be ugly.

Not sure, but I believe the jag was out first. I guess it's just considered bad taste when the same designer pays homage to his own work for another client's fees.

Why don't you just fix one of the cars that you have up on blocks in your front yard. Your mother/wife can watch from the couch on the front porch.

I own a Lagacy GT limited. It has 30K miles now without any problem. For me, this car is very very good. I saw the B11S and immediately want to have one. I heard or read somewhere that Subaru may put it into production but I would like to have a confirmation. Anybody knows anything about this?

The B11S if it makes it to a production release will be seen in the 2005 or 2006 models. This is according the press release that Subaru made at the Geneva Car Show.
