Breaking up is a hard thing to do…

I am now entering my last week at MSA, my present employer, and this is the hardest two weeks of my career. Not only do I have endless meetings with groups that I’ve worked with throughout my nearly two years but I have no “real” work to keep me busy. If I’m not in meetings I’m writing a blog entry or reading about the latest release of JBOSS. It is like being on vacation but having to go into the office. I’m sure many people would love this arrangement but it is driving me crazy I can’t wait to start my new job so I have work to do.

Speaking of my new job I’m going to a small startup here in Pittsburgh called Vesper Networks. I love startups even though there is a huge risk it is extremely exhilarating to share a vision with a small group of people. I just can’t wait to start programming and see where this opportunity will take me. I don’t know what the future holds but I’ll be sure to let you know as it unfolds.
