Beware of the West Virginia Inbreds
Many West Virginians ask why shouldn’t I have sex with my cousin. The answer is easy because if you do the resulting children will be psycho killers that will disembowel their victims. This is the plot of a new horror film “Wrong Turn“, sort of a play on Blair Witch. I’ve written several times about my ties to West Virginia and I’m not upset by this portrayal, its not real but neither is the other millions of movies and TV shows. People have to get off their soapbox and quit moaning about the West Virginia’s stereotype and start doing things to make that stereotype change. Creating new high-tech jobs in the state and funding non-religious business organizations would be a good start. I was born and raised in WV and think the state is beautiful, but even though I love the state I believe they have a long way to go before offering young people the opportunities found in other states. I don’t believe a lousy TV ad campaign is going to help the states image; they should spend that extra $50,000 on education.

I am from West Virginia myself. Most of WV is like everywhere else. It just seems the only people from WV are rednecks who probably have sex with a relative. People like that just give other in West Virginia a bad name. It just seems they are people who the media want to put on TV.
