About

I’m an urban dwelling computer junky living with my wife and two dogs. My wife, Sena, and I have have been together for almost 9 years, and we’re the proud parents of two poddle mixes named Tucker and Milton. I’m a West Virginia native that moved to Pittsburgh after graduating from Bethany College in 2001. I spent the majority of my early years playing with a Commodore 64 and learning how to program Basic with the help of Byte magazine and my father. I knew I wanted to work with computers after learning a little Pascal at the age of sixteen (and by playing Doom for 3 years prior). In college I studied Computer Science and Mathematics, but most importantly that is where I met my wife.

In the past I’ve worked on a variety of computer applications, which included selling steel online to working on tools to build custom linux distributions. I’m currently working with Wellspring, and pursueing my PhD in Computer Science at the University of Pittsburgh. One day I hope to figure out what I want to be when I grow up, but in the meantime my plan is to have some fun.
